Developing a talent pipeline for a global telecom company.

CHALLENGE

Trylon specializes in developing, supplying and building wireless networks and in building telecommunications systems and infrastructural support for energy production and transmission. Harper Resources acts as an HR partner and recruitment subject matter expert that delivers results and top talent to fuel their global business.

OUTCOME

  • Develop a consistent and compliant recruitment process for Engineering Services, Field Services and Product Operations business units.
  • Create a talent pipeline for critical roles and skills, reducing time to fill.
  • Ongoing recruitment for experienced and management level employees with a focus on the candidate experience and efficient time to fill metrics.
  • Develop and report on recruitment Key Performance Indicators, including time to fill, cost per hire and quality of candidate metrics.
  • Creation of over 25 unique job postings and descriptions for critical roles including key management positions: Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness Director, Director of Operations, and Project Manager.
  • Counsel to the CEO, Vice President of Engineering and Director of Operations on Human Resources best practices relating to: recruitment process, practices and policy, how to communicate the Company’s employee value proposition, compensation benchmarking, and salary ranges.
  • Research and provide counsel to hiring managers across Canada and the United States on compensation comparator groups, industry standards, and competitive salary ranges for engineering, manufacturing, executive and sales related roles.
  • Consult with international HR team on recruitment process and creating candidate experiences in a highly competitive European market.
